In general, when a Pennsylvania family court judge issues an emergency custody order, it only remains in effect until a new order is issued, which would normally happen following the next hearing.
At the time of the full hearing, the Court will have more time, typically, to hear the facts and circumstances surrounding the emergency and can make a more detailed order, which may address more issues.
