If you are injured by a hit and run driver, who will be responsible for your injuries?
When our clients are injured in this situation, Bononi and Company’s personal injury team works with local law enforcement to try and identify the driver. If we are unable to do so, then your own insurance policy may be responsible
We advise our clients to make sure that their auto insurance policy includes “Uninsured Motorist” coverage. In the event that you are injured by a hit and run driver, uninsured motorist coverage may make your own insurance company responsible for payment of your medical bills, pain, suffering, and any other cost associated with your injuries.
Unfortunately, even your own insurance company will do their best to pay you as little as possible. Our Personal Injury Attorneys can fight for full compensation on your behalf.
