Two Tractor-trailers Crashed, Closing Turnpike for Hours

On October 13, 2022, two tractor-trailers crashed on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The truck accident closed eastbound lanes between New Castle, PA and Cranberry Township, PA. The cause of the crash is still under investigation. So far, one injury was reported and that person was taken to a local hospital.

When tractor-trailers are traveling at high speeds on the Pennsylvania Turnpike, any truck accident can be catastrophic. Truck accidents can be the result of mechanical failures, human errors, or any number of other possibilities. The trucking industry is highly regulated. However, it is common for truck drivers to not follow these regulations and it is just as common for large trucking companies to do everything in their power to try and prove that the accident was not their fault.

The “cause of the crash” is critical for any case where someone is injured in an 18-wheeler accident.  Whoever is at fault will be legally responsible. The personal injury team at Bononi and Company has a reputation of fighting for their clients to make sure that those responsible are held accountable.

If you were involved in a truck accident, call or text us at 724-858-2744. The attorneys who represent the truck company will begin their investigation as soon as they learn of the accident. They will try to collect evidence and get statements from witnesses. If they ask you any questions, SAY NO and call us immediately.

For 35 years, Bononi and Company has represented clients injured in accidents throughout Southwestern Pennsylvania. Our team of personal injury attorneys, accountants, and other professionals are prepared to fight for you.
