A DUI should show up on a background check. We say “should” because it doesn’t take much effort to find someone’s criminal history in Pennsylvania. 

The Unified Judicial Systems of Pennsylvania created a website that makes it easy to search by someone’s name to see if they were convicted of a crime. Worse yet, the website includes anyone that was charged with a crime. So if you’re fighting a DUI because you are innocent, an employer could see that you are currently charged with a DUI.
